The Talking Shirt was founded in 2013 after a very unsuccessful trip to the local big box store. We saw the need for tees with positive, uplifting messages. As our customer base rapidly grows, we have learned that we aren’t the only ones out there that crave appropriate apparel for our little ones and for ourselves.
The Talking Shirt is a USA based company. We are family owned and operated with a small staff that helps with large orders. Brandon is “Mr. Talking Shirt” and the head designer. His “real job” is the pastor of Mokena Baptist Church, located just up the road from our shop. Rachel is “Mrs. Talking Shirt” and the person in charge of day to day operations. Our inspiration comes from our two beautiful little girls, Chloe and Avery. They are truly the lights of our lives!
When you shop with us, you are truly “shopping small”. All of our tees are designed by us and printed by us in the US. We are based in Mokena IL. Our production area is located in the back of our beautiful boutique located at 19805 S LaGrange Road in Mokena, Illinois.
We give God the glory for how our business has grown. It has been a roller coaster ride and more work than we could have ever imagined, but we are so very grateful for the opportunity we have to spread love, positivity, faith, and kindness in a unique way.
The Review
I LOVE my shirt! It’s made well, is comfortable, and has a great message (“Faith not Fear”). The packaging was impressive, too. Almost boutiquish; a small thing but it shows that a company cares. I will be ordering more shirts from them! I was given a shirt in exchange for a review and am really tickled with the product! Not just empty words.
The shirts are for kids and adults and this company will work with you to get you exactly what you want. I highly recommend them!
