There is a "Christian" romance author out there upset because she has been asked to leave some multi-author collections she's in. Her views on a few things don't sit well with some of the other Christian authors.
These other authors, in particular, have (and I quote from the offended author) "been complaining about my posts on my author page and in my reader group – apparently I am not “Christian” enough because I support LGBTQ+ and pro-choice."
So, here's the thing. I know as far as my readers go, they know what to expect from me. They know they can trust me to write everything from a Christ-centered worldview. Associating with a woke Christian like this girl can reflect poorly on authors who are trying to honor God and not redefine sin to suit themselves.
This is what's wrong with the church, people. Too many of us have exchanged the truth for a lie. We want "truth" that tickles our ears. Makes us feel good. Excuses deviant behavior.
Love the sinner, hate the sin, yes. BUT SPEAK TRUTH. Stand firm in it.
I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. Even if I don't always like what it's telling me. But it is the truth. Period.

What I am immensely grateful for and praise Jesus for in what you did/wrote is this - you chose Him/His word, to be an imitator of Jesus and follower of His word. We're at the crossroads of a ton of choices - who and what will we choose? As the old hymn's lyrics state: I have decided (chosen) to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back. Though none go with me, I still will follow, no turning back, no turning back. The world behind me, the cross before me, no turning back, no turning back. NO turning back for me, I am following Jesus. When Jesus walked the Sea of Galilee around AD 30 and came upon Peter fishing,…
Though the world tries to twist it and turn it to accommodate its sinful actions, God's Word will never change. Stand firm in you Who you believe and in what you write. There are other true believers out here cheering you on as we too stand firm for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Oh Heather, I got fired-up reading about this "Christian author". Everyone likes the title of Christian, everyone claims to be one. Sadly, most are not. The meaning of a Christian is a Christ follower. When we follow Christ and honor Him, we live a life that reflects Him and His Word. If the Bible say it, I believe it!
So girlfriend, Stand Firm! And, Onward Christian Soldier!!
